I read with interest an article about some old-school eating places in today’s Straits Times. Noting down the ones I wanna try for future reference.

1) Chinatown Tai Chong Kok Confectionery
Known for: Flaky egg tarts, Egg muffin with red bean filling, Tau Sar Piah,Wife Biscuit (Lo Po Pang)
Address: Blk122, #01-62, Bukit Merah Lane 1 and Blk 5, #02-72 ,Banda Street.
Opening Hours: 8am-9pm (Bkt Merah branch) and 10am-5pm (Banda St branch)

2) Pariaman Warong Nasi
Known for: Nasi Pandang, Ayam Gulai, Ayam Bakar, Beef Rendang
Address: 738 North Bridge Road
Opening Hours: 7:30am-2pm, closed on Sundays and public holidays.

3) Kopi Stall at Seng Hong Coffee House
Known for: Steamed white bread with kaya, butter or peanut butter, Kopi (local coffee).
Address: Blk 58, Lengkok Bahru
Opening Hours: 6am-6pm, Closed on alternate Sundays.
